Students will produce an Angkorpedia, a digital report on ancient Angkor, written for people who know very little about the subject. It will be in the form of a Wikipedia-style entry or background information for a Lonely Planet style online travel guide.
This task could be done individually or by students working in pairs or small groups.
The task will assesses the ability to apply the following historical skills:
- Locate, select and use information from a range of sources as evidence
- Develop texts, particularly descriptions and explanations that use evidence from a range of sources that are acknowledged
- Use historical terms and concepts
- Use a range of communication forms and digital technologies.
